Thanks to Lisette…

As I headed to bed last night I was dismayed to find that the container with my bite plane and my retainer was missing from my bag. I was sick to my stomach to think that I must have left in my hotel room that morning.

I had a hard time falling asleep. Partly because it felt funny not to have my appliances in my mouth protecting me from TMJ and partly because I was worried that I would have to replace the devices…a costly process in time and money.

First thing this morning I called the hotel and explained. They immediately connected me to the housekeeping department and the housekeeper assured me that the devices were there in the lost and found. When asked she told me that Lisette had cleaned my room and set them aside for me.

I retrieved them this afternoon leaving a thank you for Lisette and with a sense of gratitude and appreciation for all of the hardworking people who make the world run smoothly behind the scenes.

I’ll sleep better tonight because of you.
