The new Bed Bath & Beyond catalog arrived in the mail the other day. A quick glance through its pages offers great advice for living the good life:
Welcome spring
rethink, renew, refresh.
Relax and enjoy,
gather together.
Shake things up,
celebrate every day.
Lighten up,
go organic
upgrade your everyday.
Ah, I love looking at catalogs for that reason. If only we can all resist the urge to purchase solely because we think it might bring us all of those things! Sometimes I think that clothing catalogs designers would be good therapists!

Isn’t language fabulous. I may never look at a catalog the same again 🙂

“Upgrade every day?” I’m not sure what that means, but it sounds expensive. 🙂

Who knew Bed, Bath & Beyond was so poetic?

It is funny we need to buy more to have a “simpler” life. I try not to look at catalogs, so I don’t get sucked into buying things I don’t need. I am not always successful. I may start looking at them more with the hope of finding a poem!

Your post made me laugh! I am not a shopper, at all, but I do love going to Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I always have such high hopes for organizing and living gracefully. They never quite work out, but…

Bed, Bath, and Beyond is speaking my language…if it doesn’t bring me joy, I don’t want it. Trying to weed out stuff!
